Camp CEO

Camp CEO logoAt Camp CEO, girls will participate in fun camp and outdoor activities alongside the Capital Region’s most prominent female leaders. Imagine sitting around the campfire and discovering how the area’s most successful women got started, and how to keep the fire burning! Girls learn how to stay on target with goals while you practice archery, or are challenged to balance their professional and personal goals while walking a tightrope. Camp CEO is a hybrid of classic camp and personal enrichment activities, and a truly unique opportunity that both the CEOS and the girls will never forget.

Workshop details

  • Facing Fears: What would you do if you were not afraid? In this workshop, we will explore how fears can hold us back and become obstacles in our lives and discuss ways to discover the world of possibility beyond our fears.
  • Facing Failure the Thriving: In this workshop, we will discuss what it means to make the choice to thrive, not just survive, in the face of adversity. Participants will learn self-evaluation strategies and concrete steps they can take to thrive in any situation.
  • Team Building/Low Ropes: Get to know the other Camp CEO participants and the mentors while working together to complete teambuilding and low ropes course challenges. Camp activities will become metaphors for lifetime success as you discuss aiming for your goals in archery and balancing personal and professional responsibilities as you balance on low ropes course elements.
  • Yoga: Relax and unwind with a sunset yoga session.
  • Speed Networking: Visit individually with each mentor to learn about her career, ask questions, and hear her unique story. Since participants are paired with one mentor for Camp CEO, this is an opportunity to get to know the other accomplished leaders.
  • Archery: Aim for the target while learning strategies to help you stay on target with your career goals.
  • Waterfront: Cool off at the waterfront and enjoy swimming and boating.
  • Blueprint for your Future: If you can dream it, you can do it! Participants will identify some of their goals and outline steps to reach those goals. We will finish by creating artistic representations of our goals that participants can take home as a reminder of their time at Camp CEO and inspiration to keep pursuing their dreams.
