When Girl Scout Cadettes focus on an issue they care about, learn the facts, and take action to make a difference, they gain the confidence and skills that will catapult them to lifelong success. It all adds up to the Girl Scout Silver Award—the highest honor a Cadette can achieve.

Prerequisites
Girl Scout Cadette (grades 6-8)
Currently registered Girl Scout member
Completed a Cadette Journey

Explore your community’s needs and resources
Identify issues you care about and choose your topic
Research your issue
Build your team
Make a project plan
Complete your Silver Award Intent form
Adjust your plan if needed
Complete your project
Reflect and share your story
Complete your Silver Award Final Report
Celebrate your accomplishment!

Silver Award Workshops

Have questions about how you can start your Silver Award project? Unsure if earning the Silver Award is right for you? Learn about the requirements for a Silver Award project and how it can benefit you and your community! Tips on choosing your issue, planning, money earning, and educating and inspiring others with your project will be shared. You will have time to ask questions and start to brainstorm ideas for your project. A workshop, webinar, or webinar recording is mandatory for all Girls who wish to propose a Take Action Project to Council and must be taken within a year before submitting the intent.
