Camouflage Creatures

Camouflage Creatures
Explore the role of colors, shapes, and patterns found in nature with Susan from Second Nature Arts as you use recycled materials to create an animal habitat collage!
You'll learn some fun facts about recycled materials and about the roles that animals play in maintaining healthy ecosystems, too. Adults are encouraged to attend with their Girl Scout(s).

You will need: pencil and/or pen, scissors, glue (mod podge is preferred, but elmers, etc. will work too!), small paint brush, ruler, lightweight cardboard (I.e. cereal or cracker box), a few of the following: old magazines, catalogues, junk mail, books, etc. with images of animals, and natural landscapes (that you don’t mind cutting up.). A small assortment of colorful scrap or used gift tissue paper is also great to have on hand.
