Learn a variety of techniques for making your own earrings, necklaces, and bracelets from discarded and natural materials. Complete this program with beautiful handcrafted accessories and the inspiration to design more. Specialty jewelry items (such as clasps, earring hooks, jump rings, wire, cotton thread, etc.) will be mailed ahead of time.
Adults are welcome to register and make jewelry with their Girl Scout(s).
You will need: pencil and/or pen, scissors, glue (mod podge is preferred, but elmers, etc. will work too!), small paint brush, ruler, lightweight cardboard (I.e. cereal or cracker box), a few of the following: old magazines, catalogues, junk mail, books, and/or scrap papers (that you don’t mind cutting up.)
