Overnight Camps

Few things are as memorable for a girl as going away to camp for the summer. While she may not remember exactly how this rite of passage made her more responsible and independent or how it gave her an appreciation for nature, she’ll know it did.

Each Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York overnight camp (also called a resident camp) is unique and offers a wide variety of activities. Here are the top five reasons why you should go to Girl Scout camp.

Registration opens November 1, 2018!

Hidden Lake Camp, Lake George, NY

Hidden Lake (HLC) is a resident camp located just three miles from Lake George and offers amazing opportunities for girls! Hidden Lake has two mountain hikes within the camp property and a large private lake. Campers enjoy swimming, boating, and paddle boarding during waterfront time. The camp experience includes archery, arts and crafts, nature, hiking, team-building activities, and low and high ropes course elements. Girls are given the opportunity to customize their adventure by adding specialty programs to their week. Meals are served family-style in the dining hall, or girls can learn to prepare meals over the campfire.

Transportation is available for an additional cost of $30.

Lake Clear Camp, Lake Clear, NY
